Playing on the Train TRAX
Mobile transit app mockups to help TRAX/bus riders navigate public transportation more efficiently.
Overview
This UX research and design project focused on improving the public transportation experience for TRAX riders through user surveys, competitive analysis, and interface design. The final solution includes features such as live vehicle tracking, route planning, ticket purchasing, notifications, rider feedback, safety and cleanliness ratings, user profiles, and real-time service alerts, all aimed at making transit more reliable and user-friendly.
Problem
TRAX riders often struggle with inaccurate arrival times, limited route information, delayed service updates, and disconnected transit tools, making it difficult to plan trips with confidence.
Solution
Designed a centralized mobile application that combines real-time transit tracking, route planning, digital ticketing, service notifications, rider reviews, and accessibility features into a single, easy-to-use platform that improves the overall transit experience.
