About This Project
Task Flow Pro is a collaborative full-stack task-management platform developed as a three-month team capstone. It allows users to organize personal and team tasks, assign responsibilities, set priorities and deadlines, upload attachments, leave comments, and monitor progress. The platform also includes role-based permissions, a drag-and-drop Kanban board, calendar scheduling, an activity feed, and an administrative dashboard.
TIMELINE
Planning and Frontend Foundation
Defined the project requirements, organized team responsibilities, initialized the React application, and created the core layouts, routes, navigation, and baseline styling.
Authentication and Database Integration
Connected the PostgreSQL database through Prisma and implemented registration, login, password hashing, JWT authentication, and protected routes.
Task Management
Implemented task creation, editing, deletion, completion tracking, priorities, due dates, filters, and detailed task pages.
Teams and Collaboration
Added team creation, member invitations, task assignments, comments, member management, and role-based permissions.
Attachments and Productivity Views
Implemented task file attachments and added the drag-and-drop Kanban board, calendar scheduling, and activity feed.
Responsive Design and Deployment
Improved mobile responsiveness, added compact navigation, fixed integration issues, tested the main workflows, and deployed the application.
