About This Project
Digital Art Gallery is a React application where visitors can browse artwork, filter pieces by category, and view detailed information about individual works. It demonstrates nested and dynamic routing, protected pages, mock authentication, responsive layouts, and browser-based data persistence. Authenticated users can submit new artwork that remains available through localStorage.
TIMELINE
Gallery Foundation
Created the React project, reusable navigation components, homepage, gallery layout, and responsive artwork grid.
Routing and Artwork Discovery
Implemented nested category routes, dynamic artwork detail pages, redirects, active navigation, and a custom 404 page.
Authentication and Submissions
Added mock authentication, protected routing, artwork submissions, localStorage persistence, styling, and final testing.
